Catering & Cafe

Makia Cuisine operates Sun Cantina our in house café and catering service. Owner Jacqui Lanauze is a chef with vast experience cooking for the film and photographic industries. She provides her clients with creative healthy food and caterers to specific dietary requests.  Sun Cantina is set beneath a hanging garden in our light filled atrium with outside tables and native trees. With its unique style and relaxed feel, the café is a perfect place to enjoy a quiet coffee or lunch. There is also a lively buzz from the busy studios in the building making it a great place for meetings, gatherings and castings.

The kitchens catering menu is set but changes daily always using fresh produce and flavours to provide variety and excitement. Vegetarian options are available for all meals.

The breakfast is hand held and is delivered to your studio at time requested. The full breakfast consists of a delicious scrambled egg and bacon or chorizo wrap a homemade muffin and fresh fruit platter. The savoury breakfast consists of the wrap and fresh fruit. The sweet only breakfast consists of the muffin and fresh fruit.

The set lunch has 3 dishes (meat, carbohydrate and salad) and is served on platters and delivered to your studio at time requested - also feel free to request lunch in our gorgeous atrium.

The wraps are generous and have a variety of meats and fillings.

Afternoon tea is a homemade slice, cake or cookie and fresh fruit platter. Great coffee, organic cold drinks and homemade baking are also available.
